Ochlerotatus
spencerii
Ochlerotatus spencerii
is found at lower elevations thoughout much of
Teton County. This species has multiple
generations through the summer, and larvae are
found in many of the habitat types commonly
occupied by Aedes vexans and Aedes
cinereus. Females are aggressive biters in
the twilight hours and may be a serious nuisance
